Alice Cook House, which opened in August 2004, is the first of five houses comprising the West Campus House System. It accommodates upperclass undergraduates who wish to live on the Cornell University campus in a faculty-led student-governed residential house. Cook House was named in honor of Cornell faculty member Alice Hanson Cook (1903-1998).
