Situated on the southeast edge of the central campus, Maplewood Park is convenient to the campus and is just a short 10-15 minute walk to the shopping and recreational facilities of East Hill Plaza. Maplewood is also served by city and campus buses.
All Maplewood apartment units are in one-story (one-floor) buildings around small courtyards, and are carpeted and air-conditioned. There are 80 units for 308 single graduate students, and 90 units for domestic groups (students accompanied by another adult and/or a legal dependent). The domestic-group units are clustered together.
Most single-student apartment units have four small bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen-dining area, a living room, and a small attic storage area. There are seven three-bedroom units, each of which has one extra-large bedroom with a private bathroom and two small bedrooms with a shared bathroom, a kitchen-dining area, a living room, and a small attic storage area. There also are three studio apartments and a limited number of one-bedroom apartments with a small study. The community center has a recreation area, study rooms, televisions, laundry facilities, vending machines, and a service center.
Single student rates include gas, electricity, water, Internet (ResNet) and basic campus phone. In addition to rent, residents pay for basic local phone service and for (optional) cable television. On-site parking is available for an additional fee; please see
CU Transportation.
